Tick disease of canine is widely sped in China and the major parasitosis that influences canine's workforce. The thesis, of which the object of study is Shanghai canine, focuses on the research of epidemiology of canine tick diseases, verifying the breeds of ticks, and finding out the effective method to control canine tick diseases through therapeutically examination.The results showed as follows:The breeds of canine tick diseases which influence canine of Shanghai canine foundation is Rhipicephalus sanguineus; The infection rate of adult canine is obviously much higher than canine of other ages; The higher density in canine dog house, the higher infection rate; Difference on breeds and gender: for breeds, the infection rate of shepherd dog is much higher than dogs of other breeds. For gender, there is no obvious difference; The relationship between tick disease and season, climate, environment: The tick disease is often found from the end of February to early March each year at the earliest and will disappear by the end of November and the summit of its infection is from May to October each year, which is related to propensity of tick. The infection rate is higher in wet and shade environment and lower in clean, sanitary environment.The pouring compouds had a great effect on treating tick disease of canine.The effective rate and cure rate of the compounds were 100% and 92.5%, respectively.The medicine was better than ivermectin. The pouring compouds was easy to use and suitable for the treatment of large quantities of animals.
