Tenebrio molitor L.is a kind of resource insects, which has high nutritional value and various health care functions. As a substitute host of Scleroderma sichuanensis Xiao, it plays a very important role in biological control. The impacts of different feed formulations on larva's weight and nutrient composition of Tenebrio molitor L. have been studied and the domestication effect of Scleroderma sichuanensis Xiao are rared by Tenebrio molitor L.which fed with Pinus massoniana has also been studied. The main results of this paper are as follows:1 .In the feed formulation experiments, different amount of pupa powder and adult insect powder is added in the major component each time which is made of wheat bran, distiller's grains, bean dregs. When 15 percentage of pupa powder adds in wheat bran or distiller's grains, weight gain is better than other feed formulations. The larva's weight is added with the increasing gradient of pupa powder in each bean dregs feeds treatment. The larva's weight is directly proportional to the quantity of adult insect powder. The effect of adult insect powder is lower than the effect with same content of pupa powder. When fed with bean dregs, the weight gain of Tenebrio molitor L. is not good. Therefore it is improper that adding higher content of bean dregs to feed Tenebrio molitor L..2.The test about the water content, crude protein content and crude fat content of the old larvas that reared by above-mentioned method has been done respectively. The result shows that the water content of the old larva is inversely proportional to quantity of the additives, but the crude protein content and crude fat content of the old larva is directly proportional to the quantity of the additives. The water content of the old larva fed with pupa powder is lower than the same quantity of the adult insect powder, on the contrary the result of crude protein content and crude fat content shows the inverse.3.The result shows that 15% pupa powder + 85% wheat bran formulation is the best feed formulation in the experiment. Because wheat bran has higher cost, this feed formulation is better to apply to the parents insect of Tenebrio molitor L.. 15% pupa powder + 85% distiller's grains feed formulation is best in practical application.4.Different quantity of Pinus massoniana pine needle powder is added in the two major components (wheat bran,15% pupa powder + wheat bran) respectively to feed Tenebrio molitor L.. The Tenebrio molitor L.'s weight gain, pupa mortality and the aversion to Pinus massoniana is proportional to gradient of Pinus massoniana pine needle. When 15% pupa powder is added, the effect is better than that of no pupa powder added and the same gradient Pinus massoniana pine needle, but the pupation rate has no significant difference. Add 15% pupa powder can make up the malnutrition of high gradient Pinus massoniana pine needle feed which brings the weight decreasing, the mortality rate rise.5. Use the Tenebrio molitor L. pupa which is fed with the Pinus massoniana pine needle to parasitize the Scleroderma sichuanensis Xiao. The result shows that the birth rate of Scleroderma sichuanensisi Xiao is not significantly influenced by the quantity of Pinus massoniana, but the parasitic rate is significantly increased with the gradient Pinus massoniana. The laboratory simulation experiments of parasitic field test and the Y sense of smell meter with the breeding Scleroderma sichuanensisi Xiao shows a phenomenon that the search rate of the Scleroderma sichuanensisi Xiao for the Monochamus alternatus is increased with the increasing of the gradient Pinus massoniana. The phenomenon is due to the adaptability of the Scleroderma sichuanensisi Xiao which are fed with the Pinus massoniana pine needle in the growth process, reduces the aversion of Massoniana smell and has established certain adaptability of the Massoniana smell, rather than the enhancement of their own search ability of the Monochamus alternatus larva. Based on a comprehensive analysis ,40% Pinus massoniana pine needle +15% pupa powder + 45% wheat bran formulation can be applied to the multi-generation domestication of Scleroderma sichuanensisi Xiao.
