Vermipsylla alakurt lives on the High-altitude pastures in Xinjiang.This species is the most important parasite which Attacks sheep and Yak.The study on this flea is low.We collected 809 pieces of Vermipsylla alakurt from Xinjiang Minfeng county.This county's pasture's elevation is above 3000 metres.We have applicated SEM,figure-anatomy microscope,etc.and a lot of Experimental technique to discover many features of this flea,especially in Shape structure and Physiological function.These discoveries are the experimentation outcome of this discourse.The new discoveries contain:The male of Verrnipsylla alakurt has an unnamed tuberculum on the clasper.This tuberculum is between immobility tuberculum and mobility tuberculum.This unnamed tuberculum has 3 long bristles.The female of Vermipsylla alakurt has orbicular sensillum placodeums which dispose well-distributedly and horizontally.There are brown stripes on the ventral aspect of the abdomen of femal Vermipsylla alakurt.The chitin dermaskeleton of the female of Vermipsylla alakurt reveals metallic luster.Some abdomen of the female of Vermipsylla alakurt are like red rubies,which presents the violet,the yellow and the red.More biology character of Vermipsylla alakurt has been discovered:Vermipsylla alakurt is addicted to parasitize on ovine tail.The autoeciousness density in fastigium is up to 0.71 piece every cm~2.Some female flea's 3 pairs of legs extend horizontally,the labium and submaxilary of mouth penetrate into the coat of yak to absorb blood.The proportion of female and male on yak is 49:4,the proportion of female and male on sheep is 25:2.This experimentation has disquisition significance on the study of veterinarian and the biology.It can accelerate the prevention and cure of this sickness,too.
