Study On Seedling Cultivation Techniques Of Xanthoceras SorbifoLia Bunge. In Shendong Region

In order to slove the problem that lacking of the Xanthoceras sorbifoLia Bunge seedlings and the low survival rate of trees owing to drought soil in Spring in Shen-dong coal. We have had a year of seedling cultivation work. The trial site lies in dent in 2005 and no-dent area in Gaojiapan, we used Orthogonal test, it has two types of seedling cultivation. The factors are sowing time, soil moisture, covering soil thickness, seed grades and land type in field. The factors are nutritive cups specifications, number of grain per cup, nutritive soil types, covering soil thickness and seed grades in nutrition cup. According to the emergence, heights and diameter, we summarize seedling cultivation techniques of Xanthoceras sorbifoLia Bunge. in Shendong Region.The result showed sowing time and covering soil thickness are main factors in the seedling cultivation in field. Collapse has no significant impact on Xanthoceras sorbifoLia Bunge. The sowing time is May 17, covering soil thickness is 3cm. Nutritive cups specifications and covering soil thickness are main factors in seedling cultivation in nutritive cups, nutritive cups specifications is 15cm×15cm, 1 seed per cup, nutritive soil type is humic acid soil, covering soil thickness is 5cm. The seed grades has a little influence on survival rate of trees and the quality of nursery stock of Xanthoceras sorbifoLia Bunge, so we thnk this techniques should be died out. In the end the result showed seedling cultivation in field is better than seedling cultivation in nutritive cups. But seedling cultivation in nutritive cups has its advantages,its seedlings can plant at any time and can be transplanted. So it cannot be denide.
