Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.is a main Chinese herbal in the planting base of Northern Jiangsu Province.Fertilizer application could affect yield and quality of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.significantly.In order to research the regularity of organic fertilizers and microelements on their effects on the content of main active components in Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.,as well as on biomass, pot experiments of organic fertilizers and pot experiments of different microelements with Chrysanthmemum morifolium Ramat.were designed and conducted. The inflorescence characteristics, biomass, the content of main active components(total flavonoid and chlorogenic acid) and three flavonoids(luteolin, quercetin and apigenin) were determined at harvest stage, looking forward to exploring influence and posiable mechanism on being effected by different elements. The main conclusions are as follows:1.Organic experiment showed that all the fertilizers applied can improve matrix environment, increase nutrient content in matrix, and increase the biomass,as well as the total flavonoid and chlorogenic acid in flower.Among all the three ordanic fertilizers, the most flower biomass is the one by cattle manure application. So we suggest that the livestock manure should be using in prior in the Chrysanthemum morifolium planting base, while rap cake also can be selected as candidation.2.The two-year sand culture experiment on microelements Cu,Zn and Se on Chrysanthemum morifolium showed that total flavonoid and chlorogenic acid in flower were improved with microelements application.Chrysanthemum morifolium demands less Cu,so Cu fertilizer should be controlled strictly in agriculture production. We concluded that the maxmum flower biomass of Chrysanthemum morifolium with Cu 6.41 mg,Zn 12.73 mg and Se 9.56 mg every pot by 3411 D-saturation optimum design.3.Through the saturation optimum design on N,P and K,we find that N is the limiting factor and plays a dominant role in growth process of Chrysanthemum morifolium. The amount of N application can have a significant effect on growth and development and biomass of Chrysanthemum morifolium. The growth of Chrysanthemum morifolium is inhibited as lack P,and the biomass is also low,but the nutrientdeficiency less than N's.Among three macroelements, the nutrientdeficiency of K is the lowest.4.Application of uniform design in exploring the effect of B,Fe and Mn on flower biomass and active components of Chrysanthemum morifolium. We find that Fe and Mn have visible effect on flower biomass of Chrysanthemum morifolium, while B and Mn have visible effect on flower active components of Chrysanthemum morifolium. And we also conclude that the uniform design is not suitable to study the interactiom of two elements.5.Analyse the relationship between total flavonoid and three flavonoids, including luteolin, quercetin and apigenin by linear regression analysis. The result shows that the total flavonoid and three flavonoids have visible linear relationship, but different treatments have different effects. So we suggest that referencing for fingerprint of Chrysanthemum morifolium which can be referened, and combining with fertilizer efficiency equation, with all that ultimate determine the efficacy and synthetic mechanism on effective components of Chrysanthemum morifolium by every macroelement and microelement.
