Amylose has much complex and important active function for life-form. It can facilitate animal's growth rate, enhance curative effect of medicine, and activate immunocyte to improve response ability of antigen. These findings let people realize the application foreground of amylose in livestock breeding. Along with the research development of biology about saccharide, it was found that saccharide is vital for life-form, not only for their living and activity, but also for their immune function. People have learned biological enginery of the saccharide to life-form.Presently, many researches have been carried out about amylose, but few for applying in feed aquatics field. This study, based on native and foreign research on plant amylose, explored how to draw Water-soluble Alfalfa Polysaccharide (WSAP) from purple medic. Then, WSAP was applied to experiment animals in different ways. Such main assessing index were included in this study: (1) observation of the growth state of centrum immunity organ (such as thymus and bursa of Fabricius) and peripheric immunity organ (such as spleen, cecum and tonsil); (2) evaluating the distribution of bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and Escherichia coli in cecum; (3) evaluating cellular immune function of broilers by T lymphocyte transformation test; (4)measuring the body fluid immune function of broilers by HI (hemagglutination inhibition) antibody blood serum titration test; (5)evaluating the lick-up function of macrophage by carbon clearance test. In order to assess economic effectiveness, we also evaluate the effect of WSAP to the growth performance of broilers and feed conversion ratio.WSAP, as a kind of immunopotentiator, which were applied in production practice, would improve immune function of animal. Furthermore, it can reduce the residual of drug and insecticide tolerance of animal. Therefore, using WSAP may improve the product quality of stock raising to fit green food standard. It would bright corking economic and social benefit.Such were the main research contents and conclusions:1. In order to confirm optimum collection period, we drew WSAP from different growth phase and different part of purple medic, then evaluate its content and stability, and find that the optimum collection period for WSAP is the first stubble in bud. The stem and leaves are the best material for abstracting WSAP.2. Comparing the two methods for drawing WSAP from purple medic, we find that boiling with water method is better than soaking with alcohol method. The extractive WSAP is non-starch buff powder amylose, and easily dissolving in water, but not dissolving in 80%(v/v) alcohol. Its property is stabile, and its pure content reached 68%.3. WSAP were applied for animal through vaccin adjuvant, feed additive or direct injection. Study shows that WSAP can obviously improve immune ability and growth rate of animal, the average daily gain of treatment group improved 16.91% over than that of control group.4. Research shows that direct injection is the best way for using WSAP. The optimum dose level of WSAP is 5mg per chicken. |
