| This experiment was to explore the influence of dandelion aqueous extract to the growth performance and immune function of broilers. In the experiment, 200 one-day-age Arbor Acre broilers(AA), were randomly divided into A, B, C, D four groups, with five replications per group and 10 chickens in every replication. A, B, C groups were respectively added 0.5%, 0.75%, 1% dandelion aqueous extract in the basic fodder, group D as a blank group. Trial period was for 42 days. To determinate the growth performance, carcass quality, meat quality, immune organ index and degree of Newcastle disease antibody of each broiler group. Research the different influences of different adding doses of dandelion aqueous extract on the production performance and immune function of broiler chickens.Measure each broiler’s(21-days-age and 42-days-age) average daily weight gain, average daily feed intake and feed conversion rate. At the end of the experiment do chicken quality detection and muscle quality determination. Respectively in the 14 th,21st, 28 h, and 35 day of the experiment, collect 5 similar weight healthy chicken blood in each group. Only take and test the thymus, spleen, bursa of fabricius by using filter paper to suck blood after weighing, and calculating the immune organ index after slaughtering. The study found that(1) the average daily weight gain of test group which fed on the basal diet with an additive of 0.75% dandelion aqueous extract was 18.6% higher than that of control group(P < 0.01).The feed conversion rate of group C fed on the basal diet with an additive of 1% dandelion aqueous extract was reduced by 7.8% than control group(P < 0.05).(2) The half eviscerated rate of each treatment group were similar with no significant differences(P > 0.05); the whole eviscerated rate of 0.75% and 1% added group was significantly higher than that of control group(P < 0.05). 1% added group’s leg muscle rate and chest muscle rate were higher than that of control group(P < 0.05). There were no significant differences between groups of fat rate.(3)The muscle moisture, incarnadine and muscle protein differences of each treatment group were not significant(P > 0.05).0.75% added group’s fat between the muscle and muscle tenderness were significantly higher than other groups(P < 0.05), but the muscle pH was significantly lower than others(P < 0.05).(4)Broilers which were fed with Chinese medicine additive can significantly reduce the mortality rate, the effect is much better than the control groups.0.75% dandelion aqueous extract added has obvious prevention function. The survival rate could achieve 98%.The experimental results showed that which were fed on the basal diet with an additive of 0.75% dandelion aqueous extract can improve the growth performance, carcass quality, meat quality and the prevention ability of broilers. |
