The paper based on detailed investigating,analyzing and summarizing of present utilization of water resources in Niejiagou watershed of Xiji County and the landscape and physiognomy features of the watershed. The water and soil resources potential was excavate further for achieving the minor watershed long-term goal from ecotype to eco-economic type. The results shows.1. The built service reservoirs and soil and water conservation impoundment engineering were utilized to regulate water resources 'spatiotemporal distribution reasonably. The water-saving irrigation technology was utilized to precede suitable agriculture planting. As a whole the rate of utilization of water resources and economic efficiency is high. These technologies are supplied as experience for water resources utilization of service reservoir and soil and water conservation impoundment engineering, ecological agriculture construct and benefit exerting of soil and water conservation plant measure in alike regions.2. On the base of water head features and newly advances of water-saving irrigation technical study,the efficient utilization technologies of water resources by combined bank, aboideau, sunk and pit were studied.
