The European sorbus seeds of 3 species(named R2,R3,R4), which in the same genus, were used as the esperiment material to obtain the bacterialess shoots. By using these shoots as the initial explants, the stem-tip regeneration system of 4 speices and the high rooting rate medium of R4 were established. In the next place the high rooting rate medium of some difficult rooting sorbus (R2,R3 )were established. In the same time, some factors about rooting were studied to bring up the rooting rate of three species sorbus. The result showed that the rooting rates of three species were all increased in the culture medium with low salt content.Among the rooting influencing factors, the influence of shoot age was obvious on the rooting rates and the influence of sucrous was not obvious .In the physiological biochemistry target determination, the activities of POD and the electrophoretograms of POD isozymes in three different rooting ablity sorbus were investigated according to the time. The result showed that the amount of the enzyme is not the key factor to root, but the trends of them. The activities of POD of R2 and R4 are at the lower position of the activity curves but the activities of POD of R3 is at the higher position of the activity curves. It also conclued that the original activities of the enzyme in the shoot maybe more important factor, which determine the rooting ability. The paraffin method was used in anatomy research .It could be discovered that the root primordium of R3 and R4 did not exist in the same place.
