Kentucky bluegrass(Poa pratensis L.),Red feseue(Festuca rubra L.),Perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.), as common turfgrass in the North of ocountry, are selected as the research object. The effects of the traffic stress on three turfgrasses are studied through the measurement of visual quantity, growth and physiology parameters,substance content of the cell wall,trace element content. In terms of the micromorphology, the reason of the difference of the trample resistance among three turfgrasses was investigated.Then, Comprehensive assessment of traffic tolerance and adaptative mechanism to traffic stress are proceeded.The comprehensive evaluation of the form view quality result showed: under diffe rent traffic treatment,there are the different degree changes in the form view quality, Pe rennial ryegrass expresses well on the coverge,density,width of the leaves and thickn ess of the turfgrasses, Red feseue expresses worse, it has a sensitive reaction to differ ent traffic treatment, The density of Kentucky bluegrass increasesd obviously under lig ht traffic, which showed that adequacy trample can promote the growth of the lawnAt physiology characteristic aspect, under different traffic treatment,the moisture co ntent,the chlorophyll a+b content based on the area and the soluble sugar content bas ed on the area of three kinds of turfgrasses all presented different descend trend, Red f eseue has the biggest variety range, that of Perennial ryegrass is smaller than it, their descend range are larger than Kentucky bluegrass.there are the different degree changes in the cell injury rate aspect under different traffic treatment, the cell injury rate of Red feseue>the cell injury rate of Perennial ryegrass>the cell injury rate of Kentucky bluegrass.The comparison of leaf anatomy of three turfgrasses explained the relationship between the function and the structure of the plant well, Thickness of cuticle Thickness of epidermis and the number, of Vascular bundle all showed that the trample resistance of Kentucky bluegrass is stronger than that of Perennial ryegrass, that of Red feseue is the least,which is consistent with the experiment data of appearance and physiologyResearch results showed that the trample resistance rank of the three experiment turfgrasses spieces: Kentucky bluegrass under light traffic>Perennial ryegrass under light traffic>Kentucky bluegrass under moderate traffic>Red feseue under light traffic>Perennial ryegrass under moderate traffic>Red feseue under moderate traffic>Kentucky bluegrass under severe traffic>Perennial ryegrass under severe traffic>Red feseue under severe traffic.According to Comprehensive research results, traffic tolerance of three turfgrasses under different traffic treatment through the growth,physiology and micromorphology parameters analysis is assessted comprehensively as follows: Kentucky bluegrass>Perennial ryegrass>Red feseue. |
