| With the rapid development of city construction and the rising of city problems, landscape greening plays a more important role in urban and rural construction as an effective means to improve the environmental quality. Big trees need to be transplanted on some important occasions, such as Olympic Games, World Horticultural Expositions, municipal construction. More and more big trees are transplanted due to the advantages of small occupation land, quick vertical greening effect, great ecological benefit and so on. How to improve the survival of big-tree transplanting, protect the big-tree resources and reduce the waste of manpower and material resources is a vital task in city greening today.Based on the wide research field of big trees and big-tree transplanting, common big-tree specification and some present works, deciduous trees with trunk diameter 20cm~40cm and evergreen trees with trunk diameter 15cm~40cm are discussed in this study.On the basis of balance of moisture metabolism theory of big-tree transplanting, by analyzing and summarizing the internal and external factors, some measures of big-tree transplanting based on the balance of moisture metabolism are put forward and applied in Ziducheng project. The main results are as follows:1. Keeping the balance of moisture metabolism of big-tree transplanting is a dynamic process of tree-centered growth environmental change and water-centered balance of big trees.2. The internal and external factors to influence the survival of transplanting big trees. The internal factors include the characteristic of tree species, ages and growth situation. The external factors include climate, soil and manipulative factors.3. The improvement of big-tree transplanting survival includes the right transplanting time, soil improvement and suitable measures based on the balance of moisture metabolism.4. According to the analysis of climate characteristics in Chongqing , the right big-tree transplanting time is in autumn, not in spring. 5. The main reason caused the death of big trees in Group 4 of Lanhujun I are the unsuitable transplanting time, lack of soil analysis and improvement, too small soil ball.In the study , the improvement of big-tree transplanting survival based on the balance of moisture metabolism is further researched. The main results can be references to big-tree transplanting project in cities and protection of rare big trees.The purpose of the study is to improve the survival rate of big-tree transplanting and greening effect of big trees, to protect and save the limited resources of big trees. We don't advocate transplanting big trees in rural areas to cities, especially the transplanting of wild trees and rare big trees. |
