With the footsteps of landscape greening getting quicker and quicker, many important projects are requested to complete in a specific time, by which has already missed the most appropriate time for trees transplanting. Therefore, the success of trees transplanting in the summer has become one of important roles restricting urban development. Because of the application of the techniques for trees transplanting in the summer, green project duration is no longer affected by the season. This not only improves the quality of the project, but also shortens the time the trees turn green. Making research on the technology for trees transplanting in the summer, to improve greatly the survival rate of trees and to avoid causing death and human resources and material resources wastage, and to achieve the double ecological win both on the primitive place and the new growing place has become an important topic which most farming and forestry scientific and technical workers face in modern time, so it has irreplaceable meaning on both theory and application. The purpose of this research is to improve the survival rate of tree transplanting in summer, reduce the waste of resources, and give full play to the ecological effect of trees.There are a lot of common in the construction operation of summer tree transplanting and other seasonal tree transplanting. The difference is that the life activity of the tree itself is slow in spring, autumn and winter. The dependence of tree on site environment is relatively weak. In the summer, the tree life activity exuberant, the dependence of tree on site environment is strong. Exchange of material with the outside world is also more frequent. This time the tree grows vigorously, but is not suitable for transplantation. The seasonal factor has a great influence on the survival rate of the trees in summer transplantation. So the technical requirements of the transplantation are more stringent.This paper comprehensively summarizes the research results and the failure of summer trees transplantation at home and abroad. The principle of the survival of tree transplants is analyzed. We have carried out the practice of summer tree transplantation for many years under the guidance of tree transplanting theory. Among them, we have transplanted 13433 trees in the summer of 2013 in Feicheng, the surviving seedlings were 12168. The survival rate was 90.6%. Based on the transplantation method of high survival rate, this paper systematically summarized and summarized from digging, transportation, planting and management of planting areas. And the technical measures and suggestions for improving the survival rate of tree transplanting in summer were put forward.
