| The generative biological characteristic of Wild Cherry Plum (Prunus divarica Lbd.) were growing in XingJiang YiLi was tested. The paraffin cut section method was adapted to observe the developing process of Wild Cherry Plum( Prunus divaricat Lbd.) flower bud differentiation; The specialty of pollination and fruiting among different single of Wild Cherry Plum ( Prunus divaricat Lbd.)was tested; The effects of endocarp,seed-coat,gibberellins and stratification on seed dormancy and germination were studied with Wild Cherry Plum( Prunus divaricat Lbd.). Taking the semi-lignified branches and one year branches of Wild Cherry Plum (Prunus divaricata Lbd.)as materials, the rooting trial of stem cutting of Wild Cheery Plum was carried out by using different medium and different concentration of IBA, NAA, ABR. The means results are as follows:1. Flower bud differentiation started in late June. From the beginning of the flower bud differentiation to the pistil primordial differentiation, the whole process approximately continues 70 days.The whole process may divide into pre-differentiation stage, the early differentiation stage,sepal primordial differentiation stage,petal primordial differentiation stage,stamen and pistil primordial differentiation stage. The early differentiation stage lasted about thirty days. In mid-June, most flower buds were found in the sepal primordial differentiation stage. The petal primordial differentiation lasted about eighteen days. The stamen primordial differentiation stage lasted about thirty days. In mid-June, they came into the pistil primordial differentiation stage. There was intersectional phenomenon in each differentiation stage. From the starting of the flower bud differentiation to the pistil primordial differentiation, the whole process appears intently from the beginning of July to the beginning of September.2. The pollen of Wild Cherry Plum had kept higher vitality in several days after the pollen was just collected. The sucrose concentration and boric acid has superior effect on pollen germination, there was a highest germination rate at the medium with 15% sucrose concentration and 10mg/L boric acid. Low temperature (4℃) could prolong pollen vitality, pollen could be stored from 105 days to 120 days, but pollen vitality could just kept from 25 to 30 days at room temperature. Some of Wild Cherry Plum trees have higher rate of fruit set by self—pollination, some of them could offer pollen to each other for higher rate of fruit set.3. The seed dormancy belongs to mulriple type. Endocarp and seed-coat inhibited the germination of seed, the seed embryo had physiological dormancy characteristic. Low temperature at 4℃was needed to break seed dormancy, seeds with endocarp or seed-coat could not break dormancy and germinate with treatment of single GA3.The seeds germination percentage promoted as the time of stratification at low temperature prolonged. The seeds of Red Wild Cherry Plum needed one hundred and twenty days at low temperature to break dormancy, and the germination reached 82.2%. The seeds of Black Wild Cherry Plum needed one hundred and thirty five days at low temperature to break dormancy, and the germination reached 84.4%.4. The cuttings grew well by using vermiculite and sand. There was not much difference between vermiculite and sand on rooting, each rooting rate reached at 40% and 39.6%, therefore, both them can be the suitable medium of Wild Cherry Plum. Proper concentration of IBA and NAA could improve the rooting rate. For rooting of soft cuttings, 200 mg/L NAA effect was the best of all treatment. For rooting of hard cuttings, 100 mg/L NAA effect was the best of all treatment. With the treatment of hormone, it would promote the growth of root no matter the rooting rate was high or low. |
