Study On Waterfront Plant And Plant Landscape Of Beijing And Hangzhou

Based on extensive literature about the waterfront plants, waterfront plant landscape and combining with the on-the-spot investigation, the waterfront plant and plant landscape of Beijing and Hangzhou city were systematically studied.First, the history of water condition and the waterfront plant landscape of Beijing and Hangzhou are analyzed. The construction of the ancient waterfront landscape of Beijing was closely linked to its city water condition, which was recorded mainly in the literature of the emperor gardens of Jin,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasty. The ancient waterfront plant landscape of Hangzhou showed a intimate relationship with the most ten famous landscape of Hangzhou. The modern waterfront of Hangzhou is conveying ancient culture vein.The variety of waterfront plant used in Beijing and Hangzhou is so few that its waterfront plant landscape is simple. The study of aquatic plant's scenery feature is focus on seasonal outlook, scenery feature, size and texture. Most aquatic plants were used very early and have rich culture feature. Beisides considering the importance on the capability of cleaning water of aquatic plant, we can't ignore its ecological safe problem. Different aquatic plant needs different water deep. Its planting forms conclude naturally planting, bed planting, contained planting and floating island planting.The types of Beijing's and Hangzhou's waterfront plant community both conclude three types and eleven patterns. However the species constructing the community show apparently difference. Beijing's near-bank and above-bank plant community show obvious temperate plant feature, and Hangzhou's show obvious subtropical plant feature. Because of contained planting, the water plant community of Beijing and Hang is similar.Beijing's waterfront plant spaces are scattered in the city, most of them is simple type, its main patterns are "口 "pattern, "日"pattern, organism pattern, belt pattern, line pattern, linner composed pattern, contained composed pattern, centralized composed pattern, clustered composed pattern. Hangzhou's waterfront plant landscape spaces are centralized by the side of West Lake, most of them is composed type, concluding "ES" pattern, natural pattern, belt pattern, line pattern, contained composed pattern, centralized composed pattern, clustered pattern. The constitution of simple type of waterfront plant landscape is simple, and its landscape changes less, while the landscape of composed type changes plentifully.The relationship of the waterfront landscape between the ancient and the modern and the problems of waterfront landscape of Beijing and Hangzhou are analyzed. Some suggestions on how to solve these problems were also proposed.
