Studies On Production Performance Of Different Layer Varieties

In order to select layer varieties with high production performance , the even degree of body-weight in 17- week- age, the living rate in 17- week-age, the average egg-weight, the total egg production of 72 weeks, the ratio of egg to feeding, the total feeding consumption in 72 weeks of the six layer varieties ,They have been feed popular in quantity in Gansu province, At the second workshop of layer factory ,Lanzhou Hualong Poultry Breeding Company were determined in this experiment.Meanwhile, the differential significance of production performance among varieties was analysed.by the method of single factor equal plural analysis of variance. The results showed that ,there were no significant difference in total egg production of 72-week-age among five varieties ,which were Hisex, ISA, Golden Brown, Lohmann, Hy-line. but there were a significant difference(P<0.01) between the five varieties and Yafa, and the ratio of egg to feeding were lower than yafa.(P<0.01).Through these studies, the author thinks Hisex, ISA, Golden Brown, Lohmann, Hyline were better than Yafa, so the five are ideal layer varieties, which could provide the guidance for the breeder of layer and the development of the layer industry. At last to these questions of poultry enterprise now ,some important suggestions are raised at the end of the paper.
