Assessing The Nutritional Value Of Stylosanthes Guianensis 184 On Meat Rabbits

In order to evaluate different growing stages' nutritional composition of stylosanthes guianensis 184 and the nutrional value of stylosanthes guianensis 184 on meat rabbits . The following tests had beed carried through:Experiment one: cultivating technique and measuring different stages' nutritional composition of stylosanthes guianensis 184 , the experiment was carried in the Herding grass station of Fu Suio The seeds were sowed on March 20 in 2005 and planted on May 7, After that observied the yield and measured the nutritional composition of different stages. The results showed that: stylosanthes guianensis 184 could be mowed one time at the first year, the yield was 30000kg/hm~2. At the second year , the growth of CIAT 184 was better than the first year, these grass can be mowed 2 or 3 times, so the yield increases. In the nourishment period, the nutritional composition is best when the length of CIAT184 is 50to70 cm, which the nutrient content were: CP 15.71%, CF 31.42%, EE2.86%, ASH 6.43%, NFE 33.57%, Ca1.33%, P0.29%.
