Nutritional values of high oil corn (HOC) had been evaluated with crossbred(DLY) growing-finishing pigs and yellow broilers on following experiments.In experiment 1, 3 averaging 25.8kg in body weight, healthy crossbred growing male pigs(DLY) were used to study the apparent digestibilities of nutritions(including GE, CP, Amino acids, EE, CF and NFE),N retention and apparent biological value of protein in HOC through the method of collecting feces from anus. The results showed that the apparent digestibilities of GE, CP, EE, CF and NFE were as follows respectively: 92.14%, 79.60%, 68.37%, 38.54%, 95.40%; DE, N retention and apparent biological value protein in HOC were 15.93MJ/kg , 41.67%, 57.74% respectively; the apparent digestibilities of some necessary amino acids such as Lys, Met, Cys, Thr, Phe, Lue, ILe, His, Arg, Val were 87.65%, 86.18%, 90.99%, 89.68%, 82.73%, 88.13%, 90.27%, 93.35%, 87.22%, 91.60% respectively. The experiment suggested that comparing with normal corn (NC), CP, Amino acids and digestibilities of nutritions in HOC were almost equal to that in NC except that DE was higher.In experiment 2, 40 growing pigs(DLY) were randomly divided into 4 groups(10 pigs per group) by sex and weight, i.e. group A, B, C, D respectively.The 4 groups received diets containing 66.7% NC, 33.35% NC + 33.35% HOC, 66.7% NC + 1.4% palm's oil, 66.7% HOC respectively for 33 days in growing pig period and 65.5% NC, 32.25% NC + 32.25% HOC, 65.5% NC + 1.2% palm's oil, 65.5% HOC respectively for 44 days in finishing pig period to evaluate the effects of HOC on performance, carcass quality and blood biochemical parameters in growing-finishing pigs. The result showed: (1) In growing pig period, average daily weight gain of group A and group C were different significantly from group B and group D (P<0.05). Average daily feed intake (ADFI) and feed/gain ratio(F/G) were not different significantly (P>0.05), but feed efficience of group D was better than that of other groups. (2) In finishing pig period and whole period, there were no significant difference in performance of pigs (P>0.05). The experiment also indicated that all blood biochemical parameters were in normal range and not different significantly (P>0.05) except for globulin (P<0.05); carcass quality of pigs was not affected very much by HOC. The experiment suggested that the relationships between nutrients in HOC were not good balance, HOC can not improve performance and carcass quality of pigs if percentage of protein and amino acids additive in diet is not considered.In experiment 3, 12 about 1.53kg yellow broilerswere used to study the availabilities of GE,CF,EE,CF,NFE of HOC through chick TME method. The result showed that the true availability of GE, CF, EE, CF, NFE in HOC were as follows respectively: 75.54%, 57.48%, 93.18%, 13.83% ,90.10%; apparentmetabolizable energy and true metabolizable energy were 11.37MJ/kg or 13.06 MJ/kg respectively. The experiment suggested that yellow broilers can utilize energy and fat effectively.In experiment 4, 192 male yellow broilers (3- week-old) were randomly divided into 4 groups(48 chicks per group) ,i.e. group A, B, C, D respectively. The 4 groups received diets containing NC, NC and HOC (replacing 50% NC of the diet of group A), NC and peanut's oil, HOC (replacing 100% NC of the diet of group A) respectively for 3 periods (70 days) to study the effects of HOC on performance of yellow broilers and economic benefit. The result showed that there were no significant difference in ADG, ADFI, F/G and carcass quality of chicks among treatments (P>0.05), but the feed cost per kg gain of group D were 160g, 80g, 50g lower than that of group A, B, C respectively and feed efficiency of group D improved by 4.80% ( P<0.05 ), 2.40% ( P>.05 ) and 1.51 % ( P>.05 ), comparing with group A, B and C respectively. The experiment suggested that HOC can improve feed efficiency and decrease feed cost.
