Abstract/Summary:
M. grosvenori originated from the dried fruit of Momordica grosvenori Swingle C. Jeffrey. It has significant effect on chincough ,chronic bronchitis , angina ,intestines and stomach diseases. Along with consciousness of health care increasing ,the demand of market at home and abroad is expanding recently .It is necessary to increase its yield and improve its quality . Wuhan Botanical Garden firstly carried out the study on tissue culture of M. grosvenori .Several breeds of tissue-cultured seeding were cultured ,such as Qingpiguo, Hongmaoguo, Changtanguo. The dynamic growth rhythm , yield and quality of the tissue-cultured seedling of different M. grosvenori breeds were studied by field plot test. The zoology adaptability test was taken in Xinhua Hunan as well.The results of field plot test indicated that the dynamic growth rhythm of tissue-cultured seedling of different M. grosvenori breeds was similar.The single plant yield, fruit size, total saponin and mogroside V were taken as the indexes to evaluate the yield and quality of medical plant Momordica grosvenori Swingle. There were significant differences in yield and quality of the medicinal materials from different breeds. The tissue-cultured Qingpiguo seedling that was excellent with yield and quality could be used as origin seeds in wide plantation of Momordica grosvenori.The results of phenology observation of the tissue-cultured seeding indicated that florescence was delayed about twenty day and the yield and quality decreased at introducing area , compared with primary area.In addition , we expatiated the situation and problem of industrialization of M. grosvenori based on field survey and brought forth the relevant development advice for the development of industrialization of M. grosvenori.
