With the development of medical imaging technology, regional medical, mobile medical and wireless network technology, medical imaging has become one of the main basis for clinical diagnosis. As Picture Archiving and Communication Systems, PACS towards the regional cooperative development direction. The scope of services, service objects and the use of the objective are expanding. It leads to a rise in the number of the users. With the explosive growth of the medical image, the cache is showing its importance. The traditional single cache mechanism takes time and takes up too much space. In the analysis for the service performance of the WADO key points and the real-time visual surveillance related research have not been found. In the medical image cache performance optimization and the analysis of the hit rate, it needs to be further improved.In this paper, it based on the WADO standard to build a medical image cache service middleware (SmartWADO) to support regional medical image sharing and utilizing. From the three aspects of the WADO services, the image cache and the real-time performance monitoring, it enhances the service ability of WADO. First, analysis of the WADO service parameter and expansion, it puts forward a kind of method to expand the routing table based on WADO service to support WADO services connect multiple scenes of PACS system. At the same time, it meets the Internet environment more users access to various needs of the PACS system. Secondly, according to the various types of the service request type, it puts forward the method of the compressed storage structure, cache indexing and retrieval. The medical image objects two levels of the dynamic cache to reduce the frequency of the DICOM object to download and parse. Finally, according to the key points for WADO service in the process of the performance, it cannot be implemented monitoring observation problem. One kind of the system is proposed. It is the real-time monitoring method and the Web display system. Through the monitoring and analysis of the performance of the key points, the performance bottlenecks and the key points can be found in time.This paper implements the middleware system of the service medical image. It established the experimental environment, verification and evaluation of its service function and performance. The experimental results show that the middleware can effectively reduce the frequency of downloading the DICOM object. It improved the comprehensive performance of medical images. It can be directly applied and internal medical institutions to provide WADO services for the medical personnel. It can also be used with the regional PACS system, providing access to and processing function of cross regional medical image for Internet users. |
