Systematic Evaluation And Meta - Analysis Of The Efficacy Of Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Restless Leg Syndrome

Purpose: A comprehensive search of four databases in acupuncture treatment of restless legs syndrome related literature, systematic evaluation of its efficacy.Material and method:The use of the evaluation system of the evaluation method of the Coehrane collaboration, make literature exclusion criteria and inclusion criteria, comprehensive Wanfang database, Chinese academic journal full text database(CNKI), China biological technology database, Chongqing VIP Chinese science and technology periodical full text database. The use of Rev Man5.2 statistical software for data analysis with Jadad scoring method scoring of the literature included in the study.Results: A total of 15 articles were included in the study, a total of 1353 cases of RLS patients were included in the study, according to the modified Jadad score, 1 papers of high quality literatures, 14 articles are all low quality literature, of which there are 14 report the total efficiency of 2, reports PSQI score and RLSRS score, offer the research of the 14 article general efficiency for Meta analysis, results show that the difference of clinical trial group and control group in the total efficiency was statistically significant(OR=6.67,95%CI=4.60~9.67 Z=10.01, hypothesis testing, combined effect size P<0.00001), indicating that the test group than in the control group, the test group can improve the clinical therapeutic efficiency. In the 2 report of the PSQI score and RLSRS score on the test group and the control group after treatment, the therapeutic effect of PSQI score and RLSRS score were no significant effect of SMD. 1 articles mention adverse reaction, the rest of the literature did not mention adverse reaction.Conclusion:Through this study found that the use of acupuncture in thetreatment of restless legs syndrome can obviously improve the total efficiency of patients, has good clinical efficacy, but because of the methodological quality was generally low, so look forward to the future in the clinical trials, according to the Oxford scoring system(Jadad scale) scores proposed requirements of related standards the contents, ways of improving quality trials published in science, research on the implementation of random control test specification, as evidence of evidence-based medicine to provide better clinical treatment.
