Investigation Of Clinical Manifestation In Patients With Restless Legs Syndrome(RLS)

Objective:to analysis the clinical features and therapeutics effectiveness of restless legs syndrome(RLS) registed in our hospital.Methods:40cases which collected by the patient’s cause of RLS,sex,age,family history,associated diseases and treatment effectiveness were analyzed; as well as comparied with abroad studies.On the other hand,this study analyse the manifestation of electromyogram in RLS patients.Results:Among40patients with RLS,18ones were male,22ones were female,the oldest one was79,the youngest one was62,2ones had family history.All patients complained unpleasant sensations usually in the lower extremities with an intense urge to move,which offered some relief. The symptoms worsen in the evening or night.Associated diseases included iron deficiency anemia,diabetes mellitus,Parkinson disease,uremia,excessive drinking,coronary heart disease,COPD,hepatitis B,tumor et al.The adimitted patients were given drugs such as madopar or dopamine agonists,the therapeutic effect was good. Through therapy,healed patients were13(32.5%),inproved were27(67.5%).Conclusions:In the cases,age of onset is eldly,a few patients have family history,associated diseases are different from foreign country,but therapeutic effect is equivalent.
