Migraine is a recurrent headache disorders, was pulsating pain, to the sideof the main, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, photophobia and othersymptoms. The neurological disease is a common disease. The etiology of thisdisease and diet, genetic, endocrine and psychological factors have a certainrelationship, And the onset of migraine often incentives. Its pathogenesis isnot clear, there are trigeminal neurovascular theory, theory of vascular origin,neurogenic theory and so on. Chinese medicine will be divided into two typesof exogenous and internal injuries. Exogenous Injuries are related with wind,cold, wet, and heat, internal injuries are related with the dysfunction of liver,spleen, kidney. In recent years, modern medicine for the treatment of migraineepisodes, including prophylactic treatment and discontinue treatment, mostlydrug-based, and sometimes drugs only temporarily alleviate symptoms, and sideeffects, so that the patient can not really relieve pain. Chinese medicinetreatments of migraine and have the exact effect, and are easier, safer, andhave fewer side effects. My teachers think that the main pathogenesis of migraineis the dysfunction of the liver and gallbladder. Treating with the methods ofsoothing the liver, calming the Liver,removing heat from the liver and, withacupuncture and Chinese medicine, are very effective.
