Purpose:Evaluate the clinical efficacy of hupo pill on the middle and distal tibial fractureafter the surgery with interlocking intramedullary nail objectively by the treatment ofcombining it with the surgery. Then investigate the pharmacological effects of it and providea theoretical basis for clinical application.Material and method:Select60patients who had taken treatment in ShenyangOrthopaedic Hospital during January2012to January2013, and willing to accept and copewith the research. Divide the patients into hupo pill group (A) and control group (B),30patients in each group by table of random number. All of the patients take the surgery withinterlocking intramedullary nail, and take drugs conventionally before and after it. Besides, group (A) will take the hupo pill two days after the surgery for6weeks.Observe and recordthe time of operative incision union, callus appear and fracture healing.Test and record thefunction recovery. Then analyse the data with SPSS13.0.Results:1.The results of sex, age, causes, classification and fracture sites are insignificance(P>0.05).2. All of the operative incisions are healed by class A and all of the fractures are healed withno infection, screw-rod breakag, malunion, or nonunion。3.Group (A) is significantly better than group (B) on the time of operative incision union, callus appear and fracture healing (P<0.05).Conclusion:Taking hupo pill after the surgery will speed up the callus formation and fracture healing, the clinic curative effect is obvious.
