To Provide a safe and effective treatment for this disease.Methods:1.68cases of children with UACS (Accumulation Phlegm-heat In The In terior) were randomly divided into the treatment group (n=34) and the control group (n=34).2. Patients were given Ambroxol Hydrochloride and Clenbuterol Hydroch-loride Oral Solution in control group as well as Modified Huang Lian Wen Dan Tang in treatment group, for both the groups were given saline nasal irr-igation as basal adjunctive therapy. After two courses the curative effect was evaluated for a course is1week long.3. The TCM symptoms and signs were recorded on the first day and the14th day to evaluate the curative effect of TCM syndrome; To evaluate the curative effect of the disease on the7th day and the14th day.Results:1. Effect of TCM syndrome:(1) The total score of the two groups both reduced apparently than before (p<0.01). After the treatment, total scores and the deviations of the treatment group was less than the control group (p<0.01).â‘¡In2groups, the scores of each symptom were less than before(p<0.01).After the treatment, the scores of each symptom in the treatment group wer-e less than the control group (p<0.05), beside the symptom of "yellow urine"(p>0.05).â‘¢After the treatment, the effect of TCM syndrome of the treatme-nt group was evidently better than the control group.2. Effect of the disease:On the7th day, the effect of the treat-ment gro-up was better than the control group(p<0.01), it proves that the treatment gro-up takes effect faster. After the treatment, it suggests that the treatment group has more obvious efficacy to the control group(p<0.01). 3. During the observation, there was no obvious side-effects in the treat-ment group, while there were2children with anaphylactic reaction in the co-ntrol group. Conclusions:Comparing with the Ambroxol Hydrochloride and Clenbuterol Hydrochloride Oral Solution, the Modified Huang Lian Wen Dan Tang improved the syndro-mes and symptoms more quickly and effectively.
