The Chinese medicine of Trillium tschonoskii Maxim.is the dry root and stem of the plant, which belongs to Trillium genus in Liliaceae. As a rare medical material in the Ethnic Group of Tujia, it has been regarded as a "magical medicine". The herbal characteristics is sweet or stable with a little toxic, and it has the effect of calm and soothe the nerves, promoting blood circulation to stop bleeding and antidote. Due to many factors from many aspects, for example, deterioration of the environment (environmental factor), human’s damaging forest and reclaiming bare land, and human’s excessive excavation of the plant (human factor), and the seed’s long term of dormancy, low burgeon rate (biological factor), the amount of Trillium tschonoskii maxim. dropped dramatically, resulting in Trillium tschonoskii maxim.listed to the third level of national rare or endangered plants. Therefore, not large numbers of research on Trillium tschonoskii Maxim.exist because of limited source to raw material. In the recent years, Zhang has created the technology to plant Trillium tschonoskii Maxim., which basically solved the problem of changing wild to domesticated plant and restricted access to raw medicine. This study uses Trillium tschonoskii maxim.in Nanjiang Town in Sichuan Province to do comprehensive and systematic research based on the physical foundation of Trillium tschonoskii Maxim., studies chemical ingredients deeply to provide supporting for the theory of physical foundation, and aims to enlarge medical resources clinically and control the quality of the medicine.Use systematic pre-experiment to do primary research on chemical ingredients of Trillium tschonoskii Maxim, and infer possible chemical ingredients from results of physicochemical and thin-layer test, then to select possible means of detection and to analyze all elements intensively;Compare to prosapogenin and indentify the content in3batches of Trillium tschonoskii Maxim, by Spectrophotometry;Use phenol-vitriol method to testify the proportion of polysaccharide by single factor investigation from phenol density, phenol dosage, vitriol dosage, water showering temperature, water showering duration, cooling method.Compare to glucose and indentify the content in 3batches of Trillium tschonoskii Maxim.by Spectrophotometry;indentify tannins type by detecting reaction. Use casein phosphor molybdenum tungsten acid colorimetric method method to indentify the content of tannins in3batches of Trillium tschonoskii Maxim..Use GC-MS combination technology to research on volatile oil and liposoluble elements. The results show the difference of content is not significant in the3batches of Trillium tschonoskii Maxim.from Nanjiang, Sichuan.Use normal phase silica gel, MCI, Sephadex LH-20, making thin-layer, rec rystallizationto separate and purify ethanol extract of Trillium tschonoskii Maxi m.,10compounds are detected as follow. They were identified as (1)(25R)-27-hydroxy partial promise sapogenin,(2) β-sitosterol,(3) partial Connaught sapogeni n-3-β-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,(4) partial Connaught sapogenin-3a-L-rhamnopyran osyl-(1→2)-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (5) daucosterol,(6) adenosine,(7) Tricosane,(8) Heptacosane,(9) Hentriacontane,(10)5a,8a-table dioxo-(22E,24R)-ergot ste roid-6,22-dien-3β-ol, wherein (6) Adenosine,(7)Tricosane,(8)Heptacosane,(9)H entriacontane,(10)5α,8α-table dioxo-(22E,24R)-ergosterol-6,22-dien-3β-ol were the first isolated from the Trillium tschonoskii Maxim..Use high performance li quid chromatography to build the method to detect ingredient in Trillium tscho noskii Maxim.and to testify the proportion of Adenosine.
