| Purpose：Toobservetheclinicaleffectandsafetyofdongweigranuleonchronicnon-atrophic gastritis with invasion of stomach by pathogenic cold and coldobstruction causing blood stasis of stomach.Material and method：Eighty-six patients of chronic non-atrophic gastritiswho are diagnosed of invasion of stomach by pathogenic cold and cold obstructioncausing blood stasis of stomach were randomly divided into two groups forparallel controlled trial. Half of the total patients in the study group weretreated with dongwei granule8g tid for seven days; while the other43patientsin the control group was given hydrotalcite0.5g tid, and then the clinical effectwere evaluated.Results：Both of the two groups have certain therapeutic effect. However, the evaluationof therapeutic effect of dongwei granule in upper abdominal discomfort,belching, anorexia at the7th,14th day gained superior to those of hydrotalcite(P<0.01). Despite the evaluation of the therapeutic effect of hydrotalcite ofsymptoms of pantothenic acid were slightly outstrip to those of dongwei granuleat the7th day. However the latter were superior to those of the former at the14thday (P<0.01), the evaluation of therapeutic effect of dongwei granule ofsymptoms of pantothenic acid was gained no superior to those of hydrotalcite.There had not statistical significance(p=0.9673>0.05) by the analyticalmethods of logistic models duplicate measurement. What is more, no significantside effects were noted during treatment.Conclusion：Dongwei granule could obviously prevent and treat the patients of chronicnon-atrophic gastritis effectively who are with invasion of stomach bypathogenic cold and cold obstruction causing blood stasis of stomach, and also can relieve the symptoms rapidly.
