After treatments, thetwo groups were graded on muscle tension, motor function, activities of dailyliving with Modified Ashworth Scale, Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale and BarthelIndex.Result: After treatments, the muscle tension, motor function, activities ofdaily living of two groups were improved. The two groups’ observed indexes ofafter treatment compare with the pre-treatment has statistical significance (p<0.05). Among them, about the effect of muscle tension, the total effectiverate of treatment group was85.71%, the control group was80.77%. But the indexesof treatment group compared with the control group after treatment, the resultswere not statistical significance (p>0.05). Conclusion: The effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapyon patients with spasticity after stroke is good. This effect is better thansimple rehabilitation effect, but this difference was not statisticalsignificance. This therapy not only can reduce the muscle tension of post-strokepatients, but also has good effect on limb motor function and activities of dailyliving of the patients.Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation in the treatmentof post-stroke hypermyotonia is safe and reliable, suitable for use.
