Background:The development of traditional Chinese medicine cannot leave the tradition of old famous doctors, they represent the highest level of academic and clinical diagnosis and treatment in TCM. Research of their clinical experience and academic thought is a great significance study.Professor Han Bi Ying, Guang’an Hospital China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, director of the acupuncture, is a famous doctor of traditional Chinese medicine. She is working to acupuncture clinical, teaching and scientific research for 50 years. She lapping classic, rich learning test, medical skills. She is good at treating neurology various incurable diseases. Her experiences of traditional Chinese medicine treatment are unique.Objective:By choosing to collect clinical cases, complete medical history record. Through the analysis and exploration, in order to summarize the experiences of Professor Han in acupuncture treatment and academic thoughts of facial paralysis.Methods:Follow the Professor Han visits. Choose from outpatient patients with facial paralysis. Cases to complete its record collection, including complained of, is the history, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, acupuncture and Chinese medicine prescription, and follow-up records. Use the House-Brackmann grading scale (HBGS) to assess the facial nerve function. Summarize the experiences.Result:72 cases of this research were completed. With 3 months treatment and observation, and the follow-up of 3 months. The results obtained before and after treatment H-B facial nerve function classification comparison has significant difference (P< 0.01). Recovery rate was 51%. Most cases are recovery within one month. Less complication, and the degree of light, does not affect the quality of life. At the same time, the experiences of Professor Han in acupuncture treatment and academic thoughts of facial paralysis were summarized.Conclusion:In the treatment of facial paralysis, Professor Han thought that disharmony of channel qi and aponeurotic channel disuse is the key of disease. Treatment is mainly acupuncture of aponeurotic channel to regulate local qi and blood, and pay attention to the proximal and distal contact. Therapeutic principle is to regulate the upper abdomen and strengthening the spleen and stomach, nourishing blood and meridian tendons, activating collaterals. Used Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine together, connect meridian and viscera. Focus on treatment and prognosis of contact, pay attention to sequela recovery and the prevention of complications. With clinical observation, this treatment method is effective, worth to promote. |
