Objective: Summarizing the academic experience of professor Yang Di anhui in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.Methods: Collecting patients with peripheral facial paralysis trea ted in acupuncture and moxibustion department of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2016 to October 2017.The basic information were recorded.On the basis of so rting out the clinical data,analyzing the experience of Professor Yang Dianhui in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis and discuss th e mentor's academic thoughts from the aspects of acupoint selection,tr eatment and stage.Results: 1.80 cases with peripheral facial paralysis patients were treated and there are 71 cases were fully recovered,3 cases were mark edly effective,4 cases were effective and 2 cases were ineffective,th e total effective rate is 92.50%.2.Correctly identify the stage of peripheral facial paralysis and d epend on the patient's conditions use the proper amount of stimulation were requested in the treatment.Peripheral facial paralysis acupunctur e point selection should follow the principle of matching distance and nearness,the important role of back-shu acupoints should not be ignore d,The treatment of peripheral facial paralysis include acupuncture,mo xibustion,acupoint injection,cupping,etc.,and should be flexibl y selected based on the patient's specific conditions.In the process o f acupuncture to keep physically and mentally treated by got the atmosp here of God.Conclusion: Professor Yang's treatment of peripheral facial paralys is is based on stages,acupoint selection,and the treatment.Special a ttention is also paid to got God during the treatment process.
