Objective:TCM theory of "Yin fire" was the important theory that was proposed by Jin and Yuan period famous doctor li dongyuan.He applied it to clinical disease pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment, guiding medication. After nearly one thousand years of history evolution, generations of physicians to expand on the application of the theory of "Yin fire" makes that the TCM theory of "Yin fire" already has a wider meaning.Up to now, the definition of the theory of "Yin fire" and the determination of connotation have become blurred. Therefore, tracing back to the theory of "Yin fire" and studying on combing literature and theory are the purpose of this paper.Methods:This article uses the literature research method, recorded in ancient literature about the theory of Yin Fire collection, screening, classification, sorting; and using the method of theory practice, on the axis of time, on the later doctors about Yin Fire paper, refines and induces the theory, summed up the inheritance and evolution Yin Fire theory, summed up the connection and difference between different theories; treatment of Yin fire conditions are summarized from the medical case record, prescriptions, medical records.Results:Through the research of this paper, draw the following results:1.The origin of Yin Fire Theory:Li Dongyuan’s theory of "Yin Fire" by the "Yin deficiency and internal heat", the theoretical origin of "HuangDi’s classic", including " Classic of Questioning", Zhang Zhongjing, Chao Yuanfang, Wang Bing, Qian Yi, Chen Wuze and other sages works on the Qi deficiency fever theory and antipyretic therapy related discussion.2.The connotation of the Yin Fire Theory:The pathological nature of Li Dongyuan’s theory is the deficiency of Qi and Yin Fire fever, endogenous fire; its pathogenesis is spleen qi deficiency, Qing Yang does not rise, spleen dampness, stagnation and heat; disease characterized by fever, gas consumption disability allowance, causing fire folly; the pathological factors include deficiency, wet, drop, depression, fire.3. Syndrome and treatment of Yin Fire theory:The main treatment of Li Dongyuan’s Yin Fire disease is Buzhongyiqi, strengthen the Spleen Qi and rise the YangQi; and according to the climate characteristics to make different prescription; and according to the conditions of Yin Fire’s different degrees of wet and heat,to distinguish the three levels of the corresponding treatment.4.Inheritance of Yin Fire theory:Physicians afterworld develop Li Dongyuan’s Yin Fire theory.
