Research On The Change From Voluntary Voluntary Blood Donation Mechanism

Man lives on blood, but blood cannot be produced by man. Till now, Blood donation is still the most efficient way to save people’s lives with no harm to the donors, and it also works as a mark to measure the development of a society. According to statistics, the donation rate of high income countries hits45.4‰,10.1‰in medium income,10is recommended by WHO. However this rate in China is only8.7%o.The development of Voluntarily Non-remunerated Blood Donation (VNBD) in China experienced different mechanisms, and suffered from systematical and traditional obstacles. The change from planned blood donation to VNBD has the problem of path dependency, which has disturb this work for years, but no one has researched on this. This paper, on the basis of other research, focuses on path dependency, is going to analyze the influence from path dependency of old mechanism on VNBD, and accordingly, give suggestions.
