Parthenocissus quinquefolia Planch is a defoliation liane. Its distribution scope is very wide. Its adaptability is strong, re:5isting cold and dry, moreover, Its growth is quick which can cover very big area in several years, also grow at general soil. Parthenocissus quinquefolia is a superior plant defended wind and fixed sand because its defend wind power is strong and can plant in the severe region. Meanwhile, Parthenocissus quinquefolia is greening plant in yard, block, road.Faced a rigorous situation that the national desertification area was expanded annually with 2460 km~2 of speed and the soil erosion was increasing and serious, It was important to choose a kind of plant fixed sand. In our counny, especially western region and" three north" agriculture herding interleave, related theories and technique of recover became study hot. The moisture was one of the most important ecosystem factors restricted plant growing development, therefore it was important for drought region and semiarid region to study moisture condition of ecosystem system. The drought affected the photosynthesis function of the plant because it repressed growth and reduced leaf area. With future global climate changing such as temperature and precipitation, terrestrial ecosystem of the Chinese drought region and semiarid region would be affected. Therefore the dissertation was to investigate the eco-physiology response of Parthenocissus quinquefolia seedlings growth dynamics, physiological ecology character, chlorophyll fluorescence, physiology and biochemistry index and soil characteristic etc to the global precipitation change by artificially controlling irrigation at four levels of 150mm, 250mm, 350mm and 450mm, simulated drought region, semiarid region and semiarid wetness, results could provide the academic basis for application of Parthenocissus quinquefolia in western desertification, ecology father and in drought region, semiarid region.The growth dynamics of main branch length, stem diameter, leaf number, leaf area and dry biomass of Parthenocissus quinquefolia seedlings had influence of different degree under different irrigation. Important branch long, stem diameter, leaf number and leaf area increased with the increasing of irrigation; Between 350mm and 450mm,there were not obviously effects on morphology of branch leaf and biomass of seedlings of Parthenocissus quinquefolia, but 150mm and 250mm 350mm 450mm...
