The management technique of mink industry is a complex management system, and the farm management technique is the key sector of the management technique to make sure a sustainable development of mink industry with high-yield, high-quality and high-efficiency. Through the detailed survey and analysis on the operation management of Dalian Jinzhou Mink Farm, the study, involving the computer management system of mink farm and the breeder standard of mink, was carried out in order to find out the feasible and effective computer management system of mink farm and breeder standard of mink and sequentially establish a foundation for the study of the key management technique of mink farm. The contents and results of the study are as follows:1. Mink farm production management information system was designed by using Visual Basic 6.0 and database as exploitative tools. The information system contains six functional modules;including mink group management, individual information management, statistical analysis, sale management, storehouse management and system maintenance, and over twenty sub-modules. The system can realize functions such as input, inquiry, deletion and statistics. By analyzing this information exactly, we can afford scientific and suitable project scheme for mink farm in time.If the system is applied in the mink farm, it will extremely save manpower, materiel, financial resources and time used in the management of mink farm. Meanwhile, it will be propitious for the mink farm manager to manage mink resource, help them grasp the number of mink and the change condition of the population in time, and accordingly bring forward corresponding management strategy to realizes the modernization management and scientific management.2. Different ages of breeder mink (male: lyear of age (1 ? ) and 2 years of age (2 ? );female: lyear of age (1 ?), 2 years of age(2?) and 3 years of age(3?), 121 individuals altogether) were chose as the subject for study with mating condition: 1 ? × 1 ?,1 ? × 2 ?, ,1?×3?,2××1?,2?×2? and 2?×3?. Before the hybridization, related information of breeder minks were noted and managed unitedly during the period of gestation and kittening. The weight, length and serial number of cub mink were noted every 15 days until 150 days old. The relatedness between sex and age was analyzed through analyzing all data by SPSS and Excel, and compared graphically. The optimal standard of breeder mink was obtained through an comprehensive evaluation combined with other factors. The results are as followings:(1) General linear model was founded for the studying of Jinzhou black stud minkcharacter and young mink character difference. Statistic analysis showed that the length of female breeder has a significant influence on the length of cub mink;the length of male breeder mink has a significant influence on the length and weight of cub mink;the weight of female breeder mink has a significant influence on the length and weight of cub mink. The weight of male breeder mink has a significant influence on the weight of cub mink but not on the length of cub mink. The length and weight of male and female breeder mink didn't have significant influence on survival number and ratio of cub mink, and the length and weight offemale breeder mink had significant influence on number born per childbearing.(2) The study on the influence of different age combination on cub mink character in Jinzhou showed that 2& X2£was the best combination with average raise number 4.78, average number born per childbearing 5.98, survival ratio of cub mink 93.41%, and average length of cub mink 40.23cm. Among the six age combinations, the sequence from the best to the worst was 2$> X2£>26 X3£>1 $ X3? (UX2£) >2 £ X 1 £ >1 £ X 1 £, and the difference between combinations 1 & X 3 £ and 1 & X 2 £ was not significant.(3) In this study, the length of sampled male breeder minks ranged from 34cm to 52cm and the weight of sampled male breeder minks ranged from 1300g to 3100g;the length of sampled female breeder minks ranged from 32cm to 48cm, and the weight of sampled female breeder minks ranged from 700g to 2500g. According to the statistical analysis of the influence of breeder minks' weight and length on the weight and length of cub mink, it was found that the optimal length of male breeder mink ranged from 42cm to 46cm with cub minks' average length 44.12cm (150 days of age) and average weight 1995.02g (150 days of age);the optimal weight of male breeder mink ranged from 1900g to 2300g with cub minks' average length 43.51cm (150 days of age) and average weight 1929.17g (150 days of age), the optimal length of female breeder mink ranged from 36cm to 38cm with cub minks' average length 42.42cm (150 days of age) and average weight 1675.34g (150 days of age);the optimal weight of female breeder mink ranged from HOOg to 1500g with cub minks' average length 41.69cm (150 days of age) and average weight 1654.32 (150 days of age).In this paper, the study on computer management and breeder standard management will perfect the farm management technique;make the farm management more scientific and reasonable;promote the economic and social benefits of the mink farm;and provide scientific reference for the development of mink industry toward high producing, good quality and efficient direction.
