Objective:In recent years,under the influence of African Swine Fever(ASF)and environmental protection pressure,the focus of swine production in China has gradually shifted to the northeast and northwest.As a major animal husbandry province in China,the pig breeding in Xinjiang is developing rapidly,but the level of production management is far from that in developed areas.Therefore,information management is an important means to improve the quality and efficiency of pig industry in Xinjiang.In this study,we designed and developed a cloud-based information management system for pig farm,applied it preliminarily in the management of breeding sows and evaluated its application effect,so as to provide a reference for Xinjiang pig information breeding.Methods:(1)Through the simulation of pig breeding management and production process,the corresponding module operation logic was designed,and the cloud-based information management system was developed,which is integrated on PC and mobile We Chat.(2)A large-scale breeding sow farm in Xinjiang was selected to apply the cloud-based information management system.Reproductive indicators such as conception rate,delivery rate,live litter rate and mortality rate of weaned piglets were collected before using the system(2016and 2017)and after using the system(2018,2019 and 2020).Mean values and coefficients of variation(CV)were calculated for 12 months each year to compare the degree of dispersion of the data.In addition,the fitting relationship between month and reproduction index,enclosure temperature and mating conception rate was established,and the best fitting model was finally determined after using the system.(3)Sixty Landrace×Yorkshire Dual Sows with similar body condition,good health and stable parity were randomly divided into artificial feeding group(control group)and precision feeding group(experimental group)with 30 replicates per group and 1 sow per replicate.Both the control group and the experimental group used commercial breeding sow feed.From the beginning of gestation period to the end of lactation period,the experimental period was used to collect the data of backfat thickness,body weight gain at each stage,feed feeding data and other costs of breeding sows,and analyze the influence of the precise feeding mode implemented by this system on the production benefit of sows.Results:(1)The informatization management system based on cloud for pig farm was successfully designed and developed,and each function module of the system was described.(2)Data discrete analysis was carried out for mating conception rate,delivery rate,live litter rate and weaned piglet mortality rate in five years.The comparison results of CV values showed that the data in 2016 had the highest degree of dispersion(coefficient of variation of various indicators:CV=3.07%,6.85%,8.47%,3.01%).Since 2017,the degree of data dispersion had gradually decreased,and the degree of data dispersion in 2020 was the lowest(coefficient of variation of each indicator:CV=1.33%,3.02%,7.39,%,0.48%),and tends to be stable.The fitting analysis of the data showed that there were significant differences between the mating conception rate and months in five years(p<0.05),and the fitting results were credible.The R~2of 2018,2019 and 2020 were equal(R~2=0.89),and the fitting degree of the model was good,which indicated that with the use of informatization management system,the variation trend of the mating conception rate in each year tended to be consistent.There were significant differences in the fitting analysis between the birth rate,live birth rate,weaned piglet mortality rate and the month(p<0.05).The fitting R~2of delivery rate and month in 2018 was the highest(R~2=0.94),that of live litter rate and month in 2019 was the highest(R~2=0.78),and that of weaning mortality and month in 2020 was the highest(R~2=0.81),indicating that the model had the best fitting degree.The fitting degree of temperature and mating conception rate in each year was significantly different(p<0.05),and the fitting degree of 2020 was the highest(R~2=0.76).(3)The results of feeding showed that there was no significant difference in backfat thickness and daily gain of piglets between precision feeding group and manual feeding group(p>0.05),but the birth weight,litter weight at birth,litter size and healthy litter number of piglets in precision feeding group were significantly higher than those in artificial feeding group(p<0.01).The weight gain of sows at various stages of pregnancy,the total weight gain of pregnancy,the body weight gain of sows during pregnancy and the weight loss during lactation were significantly decreased(p<0.01).In addition,after the implementation of precision feeding,the feed dosage and the remaining feed amount per sow were significantly reduced(p<0.05),and the production cost was reduced by 106.92 yuan.Conclusion:The cloud-based information management system for pig farm was successfully designed and developed.Through the application of the system in the management of breeding sows,the dispersion degree of reproductive related index data decreased year by year and tended to be stable.At the same time,the fitting function model of the annual and monthly enclosure temperature and the reproductive index was established,which provided the basis for predicting the reproductive index.In addition,accurate feeding of sows through the system can effectively reduce the breeding cost,maintain the reproductive performance of sows,and improve the economic benefits of pig farms. |
