In this research, twenty varieties of soybean in Nanjing are taken as experimental matrials, which are done to sow in six stages. Adopting Brandford, SDS-PAGE, micromethod of Kai's fixed nitrogen and others method, the accumulating amount and accumulating process of storage protein and its subunit in different seeding date are studied. The results showed that:(1) It is obviously different that the accumulating amount of storage protein in ripen soybean in different seeding dates(F=79.07**). The average coefficient of variation in different seeding dates is 4.06%, and reached the summit by 6.89%. The average square deviation in all varieties in the experiment is 16.90 mg/g seed, and reached the peak by 27.33mg/g seed.(2) The changes of the protein accumulating amount in different seeding dates are regular. The rules of the changes of the protein accumulating amount in different seeding dates are obviously different in different varieties. The rules of the changes of the protein accumulating amount in different seeding dates can be roughly divided into four kinds: the first one is a down-up-down-up curve, which appeared in Juilianjiujuandou, Tongdousanhao, V97-5391, 493-1, Rudongwanluhuangdou, Heidouyihao, Aolai and Zaotabianqing. The second one is a up-down-up curve, which appeared in Bamajiuyuehuang, jidoushihao, PI548663, J280082, Chuipinxiaoziyaoheidou, Wuchangliuyuebao, Anjiqingdou and Nancui201. The third one is a down-keep-down curve, which is appeared in Shanzibai, Qidongyangyandou and Su-123. The last one is a down-up-down curve, which appeared in Guiyangzijindou only.(3) Seeding date affect the ratio of 11S/7S and the accumulating amount of 11S and 7S seriously. This kind of effect is obviously different in different varieties. Wuchangliuyuebao, J280082 and Chuipinxiaoziyaoheidou have a better protein quality for a higher ratio of 11S/7S in majority seeding date. Heidouyihao have a higher average value of 11S/7S, but it's coefficient of variation reachs 18.12%, and range reachs 1.26mg/g seed.(4) The accumulating amount of storage protein is more stable in PI548663, J280082, Nancui201. The value of 11S/7S is more stable in Qidongyangyandou and PI548663. So, the protein quality of them is more stable in different environment. On the contrary, Jidoushihao,...
