Brewing barley has become the studying hot point with the development of the brewing industry. Recently, our country has grown and introduced large quantities of barley germplasm, but there are not only forage barley but also brewing barley in these germplasm, and they show different qualities. Barley germplasm had been classified based on grey relation grade analysis of agronomic character, composite character index and gluster analysis of hordein spectrum bands.Grey relation grade analysis showed: for the varieties which compositive chacter performed well: such as number 2 TH-IBON S-22, number 8 TH-IBON S-3, number 14 TH-IBON S-30, after introducing experiment can attended area experiment directly; number 1TH-IBON S-20, number 3 TH-IBON S-50, number 12 THEMBSN S-14, number 16 TH-IBON S-9, number 24 HEMBSN S-5, number 38 97007, number 40 variety Gan beer, number 41 variety Ken beer 3 can be used as important parents, improve exceptional character: such as the individual plant height of number 1, number 3, number 16 and number 40 varieties, the protein contents of number 38 97007, number 41 Ken beer 3; number 21 THEMBSN S-3, number 22 THEMBS N S-l, number 25 THEMBSN S-8, number 27 THEMBSN S-7, number 31 BM-4 can be treated as excellent parents for seed selecting; Number 10 TH-IBON S-25, number 17 TH-IBON S-55 and number 23 THEMBSN S-4 which comprehensive expression not very well can be eliminated courageously, in order to decrease breeding load, cut down cost.Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) result showed: number 10 TH-IBON S-25, number 29 BM-2, number 34 97002, number 40 gan beer 4, number 41 ken beer 3 displayed similarly in land for growing field crops, spectrum bands indicated that had notable divergence, which illustrated these materials had fairly large genetic difference.
