In order to increase the virus-free minipotato's multiplicable coefficient, lower the production cost and accelerate the virus-free minituber propagation speed, Potato virus-free plantlets cultivation , minipotato multiplication and techniques for family propagation system were studied inthis paper .The results indicated that:1. It has significantly lowered height of seedlings when using nature lightshines to culture tube seedlings compared with manmade lighting, with higher live rate, bigger single plant's valid stub and less production costs.2. It is easier to wash seedlings for water-cultured ,moreover,the plants hase more vigorous productions,more roots and higher survival coefficents.3. The minipotatoes are more suitable to match the field production with vermiculite + turves (using 60cm × 25cm × 4 cm seedling dish,at bottom with 4-cm-thick turves) for the growth medium and 100 virus -free plantlet in vitro each dish..4. It has raised woking efficiency and increased minipotato yields by means of aeroponics to produce minipotatoes with 20-cm-long no-root cutting plantlets.5. Production costs can be lowered 90.2% when using common agriculture fertilizers to confect the aeroponics solution instead of the chemistry analysis ones, with no significantly effects on the plants growth and the production of minipotato.6. It has higher total and unit yields to breed with minipotatoes about 1 to 5 grams and 11000 plants/667m~2 and lowered inputs/outputs.7.It have no obvious differences to produce potatoes with the same quality seeds bred in local areas compared with high quality ones producedin norther-east of China.8. Family Propagation system is a kind of new method to produce virus-free potato seeds with shorter multiplication period, higher-quantityseeds, less investments and carrying costs.
