Analysis On The Current Situation Of Shanxi Grape Cultivation

Grape is one of the oldest and most widely distributed fruit in the world. At present, the cultivation of grapes in China is more concentrated in Xinjiang, Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning, Shanxi, Jilin and Henan. Shanxi is very suitable for the growth of grapes becauseof its adequate light, heat resources are abundant, moderate rainfall, fertile soil. In this study, we access to a large number of information, visits to collect datum, attempt to have a preliminary exploration and the general knowledge of cultivation of grape in Shanxi province. Trying to determine the grape variety and suitable growth area, and understand a preliminary inquiry of grape cultivation methods on the growth and quality of grape.Shanxi has six main concentrated grape cultivation area, includeing Taiyuan Qingxu, Xiaodian district; Yuncheng Jishan, Xiaxian; Jinzhong Taigu; Lvliang Fenyang,Wenshui; Linfen Quwo, Xiangning; Datong. In addition to Datong, other areas are suitable for planting early, middle and late maturing varieties.It’s performance different with different methods of cultivation of grapes in different growth stage. The grape in sunlight greenhouse either shoot or mature earlier than the it in open field and rain shelter cultivation. However the difference of grape phenology performance of rain shelter cultivation and open cultivation is not obvious.Comparison of the behavior of production and fructification of different varieties, found the germinations of all kinds of grapes rate are very high. Muscat, Zana, zaoheibao in sunlight greenhouse are better at fructification; Kyoho, red globe in rain shelter cultivation are grow more stronger, zaoheibao in open field cultivation is better at growth and fructification.Under greenhouse conditions, the appearance quality of grape is slightly better than that of open field cultivation. The spike weight, fruit weight and yield of grape are almost as rain shelter cultivation> greenhouse>open field cultivation. Quality of the same species in rain shelter cultivation is better than that in open field. But sunlight greenhouse cultivation may lead to grape quality is slightly lower than that of open field cultivation.Greenhouse and cultivation conditions are contribute to the prevention and control of grape leaves and fruit diseases. In the rain shelter or greenhouse cultivation, leaf downy mildew, fruit anthracnose, white rot can be controlled effectively.
