As high-grade highway extends to the mountain and hilly areas in China, bridges have a higher proportion of the highway. As an important part of the bridge structure, the bridge deck can pavement protects beam and assume the role of the road. Its quality has a direct impact on the vehicle safety, traveling comfort and durability of the bridge structure. Relying on the M ramp bridge of Cha Town Interchange in Shiyan-Tianshui Expressway, the concrete bridge deck system had been full-scale researched.Firstly, a three-dimensional finite element model of the bridge deck system has been established, using ABAQUS finite element software. Based on the model, the mechanical law of bridge deck system has been analyzed. The control indicators and optimization principles of bridge deck pavement material and structure composition were proposed. The service conditions of the inverse structure and conventional structure were indicated. Secondly, in laboratory, six asphalt mixtures'mechanical properties and pavement performances had been studied. Combining both the result of mechanical analysis and the pavement materials' technology performance, rational structure combination of upper and lower bridge deck structure layer was determined primarily. Thirdly, a torque test device and a pull-off device were developed, which could be used to test tack coat in laboratory and field. The influence factors of rubber bitumen synchronization bonding layer's performance were researched by the torque test and pull-off test. The optimum amount of tack coat was determined. And the temperature and asphalt mixtures'effect on interlayer shear property was analyzed. Finally, through the construction and survey of the experiment road, the bridge deck pavement's mechanical analysis and laboratory tests was proved to be reasonable. And the construction technology of bridge deck pavement was summarized.
