| Construction of modern integrated transportation system and the coordinating development of various modes of transportation are important for solving the problem that transportation can not meet the national economic development. At the present stage, the mainstream of transport management is to regard demand as the main driving force and guideline, integrate transport resources quickly, and meet the transport demand by mode of intermodal transportation. The intermodal transportation is called nervous center of integrated transport system, so the speed of its development should be accelerated. The development of modern integrated transport is to develop the resource optimization system which intermodal transportation being the core content, meet the need of maximization of subjects' utility, and promote the development of socio-economy.On the basis of summarizing the theories of transport resource optimization, integrated transport, the demand of transportation and so on, firstly, the paper analyzes the internal mechanism and research framework of "mode-choice" for intermodal freight transportation under the profit-driven of demand. Secondly, it analyzes the economic nature of demand using the theory of transport demand, and constructs the comparison model with the economic being the core content. Finally, this paper uses the method of combing the qualitative analysis with synthesis algorithm DHGF to solve the problem of mode-choice for intermodal transportation, relying on evaluation index system.Through this research, this paper argues that intermodal transportation is the direct expression of integrated transport in the micro-level, and it should become the core content and major transport organization. The choice of intermodal transportation is conducted with transport demand being the core of the behavior, and the profits of relevant subjects are met. Intermodal transportation is the inevitable choice of the economic nature of demand and resource allocation. The economic nature of demand is the comprehensive evaluation index for realization of transport demand, the dynamic technological and economic characteristics of transportation, and the core factors for choosing intermodal transportation. In the case study, the paper uses the method of combining the theoretical analysis and synthesis algorithm DHGF to evaluate the program of intermodal transportation comprehensively, and the result has good effect. |
