Along with modern manufacture industry fast developing, the manufacturers and customers have high demands to the products'quality. Following the more choices to the products, at present the competition in the market becomes serious. If manufacturers want to be more excellent and interested by the market, improvement to the companies'quality management level and products'quality is one of keys.The impermeable graphite tube exchanger is widely used in chemical, steel and other industries following with the deep industry developing. After last century 90s, a lot of foreign graphite exchanger manufacturers came in to Chinese market and brought the high quality products as well as modern enterprise management ideas. Domestic graphite tube exchanger manufacturers developed late and most of them are private enterprises. The key is to improve the product quality if they want to get success in the competitive global environment. To improve the quality level, the modern management idea has to be the base and the quality management system mode shall be set up according to the enterprise specific.The article researches the modern quality management, consequently applying the Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology into the quality management to set up a quality management system. In the base of quality management system set-up, using the SPC method and the control charts to analyze and monitor the quality control in the manufacturing process. Thereby the quality monitoring and pre-caution works.The impermeable graphite tube exchanger is easy in fault during running which is not decided by the material brittleness of the impermeable graphite but also affected by the every process step's quality control. Via the introduction of the fault by fault tree, the quality control becomes more directive and practical. To get rid of the partial faults and all fabrication quality problem, there shall set up a guarantee system namely quality control system. Quality control system is the necessary base and environment to implement the quality control. In succession the article introduces application theory and analysis way of the SPC technology in graphite tube exchanger's fabrication quality control, meanwhile researches the application of control chart in main fabrication sections and makes the charts and analysis to the control chart by using the software MINITAB.The set-up quality control system mode basing on the SPC way is the new thought to manage the complete quality management in the present industry. From the choices to charts and screening out the main fabrication sections'quality control to real application to charts, the article collects the relative fabrication process data and which shows the significance and reference value to application of charts. And meanwhile the article discusses the application state and facing problems of SPC using in this area, which give the industry advices how to widely use the SPC to start the complete quality control.
