With the rapidly development of science, technology and information today, the diversification of product function has only became the consumer's basic request for product, and it is no longer the main reason that stimulates the consumer's purchasing desire, but different product morphologies make the consumer have different feelings markedly, so it dominants the consumer's behavior. In the product morphologic design, emotion semantics is used in order to make people understand the function and use method through product morphologic and promoting information communication of product and consumer, realizing product function and value better.The paper analyzes the person's thinking habit, emotion characteristic, activity characteristic and the process of cognition behavior from the psychology, studies the product morphology design according to people's characteristic of action.At the same time the paper analyzes morphology semantics which is appeared through model factor, color factor and texture factor from the cognition angle. By the understanding to knowing theories of shape and emotion semantics, then I analyze emotion semantics applied on computer and car styling, meanwhile, understand each part conveying its structure and function semantics, and embodying the value of emotion semantics in product morphology design.Through analysis and study on basic knowledge and the instances, I apply emotion semantics to children bicycle design. First, I understand the development of bicycle and main constitute parts, and study the information coding and encoding on the product semantics, then put forward the process of emotion semantic coding which collects information and codes according to user physiology, safety, society, self-realized demand in bicycle morphologic design. Then I will design bicycle frame, handlebar, wheel and footstool in order to convey simple, perspicuous and pleasurable semantics.Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to make product be easily understood and used and produce the resonance of psychology and communicate the emotion between consumer and. product. Meanwhile, offer a method in the process of emotion semantics applied on product morphologic design.
