The falsework system is a region that frequently occurred safety accidents in the process of construction. In recent years, there have been many reports about such accidents that caused substantial economic loss and casualties. Many scholars have studied scaffold for a long time, and they have compiled< The safety and technique criterion of the fastener-style steel pipe scaffold>.But till now, there haven't any criterion of formwork-support yet. While the present calculation methods only takes the stability of one step in a single pole of the support system into consideration, but presents no specific calculation requests of high supporting pole, and fails to think over the mechanism of interaction between each pole of the formwork support system.Firstly, this paper reviewed the development process of the fasten-style high formwork-support system in our country. Then, concluded the study fruit of falsework both at home and aboard, which is very useful for the following study.The paper established the element stiffness matrixes about the main spars of the falsework: erected/longitudinal/laterals pars. And with the project, used the finite element analysis software ANSYS to model the falsework and do the mechanical analysis.The scaffold under the beam is used"the lattice falsework"system to put up. And through ANSYS to analysize the static performance, obtain calculation results, and provide theoretical guidance for the construction.This paper used the theoretic model of the single pole, which can consider the interaction among horizontal poles, vertical struts and crossing struts, to analyze the global stability of high formwork-support system. Meantime it compared with finite element calculation, and the correctness of the model was validated. The achieved result could provide valuable references for the design of high formwork supporting frame system.From these analysis results, the author drew conclusions which are very useful to understand the mechanical capacity of the falsework system and guide the engineering practice.
