The Research On Expression Of Precast Concrete Architecture Skins Material

the precast concrete, which was invented in the middle of 20th century, has became a matured technology at abroad now, there are uncountable amazing building instances have been created; Further more, the related technical standard and industry chain is also established.In China, the research on precast concrete is still at the beginning, but its development do has the positive influence to our construction industry. Firstly, it can be made into various modeling and facing according to the architect's needs, which are very helpful to stimulate the inspiration creation and the passion of the designer, further more, it also satisfies the increasing esthetics requirement in construction industry. Secondly, it can effectively reduce the workload in the building site, so that the related pressure on the city's traffic and environment is also reduced , that really means a lot to the city. So, the study of precast concrete shall be necessary as the construction industry is developing vigorously.This article is in the position of the architecture, and focus on discussing the performance of precast concrete when it's chosen to be the material of the building's surface. We begins with the basic knowledge of concrete and precast concrete, which primarily involves theirs'generation, type, development and the uses in architectural. Then come up the research and analysis to the use cases of precast concrete. the use cases are classified into two categories to discuss with, one related to the ways of assorting or arranging the constructional elements in pairs or groups; the other related to the ways of changing the facing texture of the elements. Meanwhile, base on the use case studying, a depiction of the construction and technical measures about this material will be presented. And in the end, I would like to share my project experience and my own thinking about the performance of this material base on the experience.I just wish to give a system study on the performance of the precast concrete architecture skins material with writing this article to improve my design, and give my own trifling contribution to the study of this material.
