In engineering machinery, car and other machinery that require transmission of fluid medium, Some low-pressure pipeline Commonly can use the connection of Hose and hard-pipe. This method of connection is widespread. In order to ensure a reliable seal between the hose and hard pipe, clamps are often used to lock the hose to the hard Pipe. One of the important components in car's pipeline connections is Step less ear clamp. The process of closing the clamp is a highly non-linear process, it includes plastic deformation, large deflection and contact problem. Theoretical calculation is difficult to meet the design requirements. The maximal stress and the stress distribution of clamp could be easily obtained by Ansys. The stress distribution of the pipeline when the clamp has been clamping can also be obtained. The research can provide a theoretical basis for the design of Step less ear clamp. At the same time, by using Electrical Measurement Method, the eight-point force testing equipment is designed and produced. It can provide experimental basis for performance analysis. The main research contents and conclusions of this paper are summarized below:1:It makes a theoretical analysis of the process of clamping the clamp, and proposes methods to solve non-linear.2:Establish the three-dimensional model of the clamp by Pro/E, and make a simulation of it using Ansys.3:By analyzing the process of clamping the clamp, the stress distribution of the clamp and the closing force it produce are obtained. this can validate its sealing performance.4:Design and make force testing equipment, and test its performance, the result shows that the repeat performance of the equipment is well and the bias is small enough.5:Compared the data obtained from the force testing equipment with the result of Ansys, both data are consistent.
