Study On The Residential Districts Space Of Outdoor For Old People In Saihan District Of Huhhot

With China's entering aging society, the social economy and urban development in our country have faced a series problems brought by the aging of population. The residential elderly outdoor leisure space has became the standard for assessing a residential district or city civilization, it also provides a safe, comfortable, live, plenty outdoor space for the aged, and is the most important place for the elderly daily activities. A better outdoor leisure space can complete the environment of urban residential district, and make a positive effect on the social environment of respecting the aged.Huhhot entered the aging society in 2006. The demography, gerontology, sociology, landscape studies, probability statistics, conduct environmental psychology and etc. are used in this paper. Based on the investigation, analysis of the questionnaire and research for the residential elderly outdoor leisure space of Huhhot, we study the following problems from the aspects of the urban residential elderly outdoor leisure space design and environmental landscape garden and etc.:1.The investigation analysis for the residential elderly outdoor leisure space of Huhhot. Through the visiting to abundant of residential districts of four regions in Huhhot, we analyze the mode of elderly behavior, the status of elderly activity space, the status of the plant in the residential district and the status of the rest facilities special for the Qiaohuazihuayuan, Xuefuhuayuan, Jinyuwenyuan in the Saihan region. Through the approaches of field investigation, questionnaire survey and take photos, we apply the weighted arithmetic mean method and refer to the related literatures home and board, and find out the unreasonable phenomenon existing in the program, construction and application of elderly outdoor leisure space in the above three districts.2.The related theoretical research about elderly outdoor leisure space. As the theoretical basis of our research, we analyze and research the following aspects: the type of elderly outdoor leisure space, the type of elderly outdoor activities, the relation between the type of elderly outdoor activities and the outdoor environment, the driver of the elderly outdoor leisure behavior.3.Considering the condition of Huhhot, an advice is proposed for the elderly outdoor leisure space following the design principle of urban elderly outdoor leisure space. The advice makes a reference for the later design of constructing humanized district for the aged, and includes the following aspects: setting indoor-outdoor activity space, enriching the outdoor landscape in winter, locating the activity space with the consideration of wind direction, extending the road auxiliary facilities, setting the sit facilities following the physiological and psychological characteristics of the aged and etc.
