University Park Public Landacape Space Design Research

The late 20th century, most colleges and universities plan to expand enrollment. Campus population density increased, the original teaching and living space can not meet the needs of students. Environment has been affected, the original campus was destroyed converted into buildings, the campus could not find a quiet place. Some campuses have also repeatedly transform the existing situation of shortage of land for the teachers and students to create a quiet comfortable space. But the reality has not borne overwhelmed many colleges and universities campuses, it has emerged the phenomenon of large-scale reconstruction of the new campus. From the perspective development of the times the building of the campus area is growing, but look at the campus landscape planning was unsatisfactory, whether for social, cultural, ecological, landscape, or psychological, and many other considerations, facing the campus landscape planning practical problems.Into the 21st century, universities in order to meet the demand for professionals in the community to strengthen school conditions and school characteristics, and to build a better environment and quality of the campus landscape for the public colleges and universities is imperative. But now many colleges and universities to create more and more attention to the campus landscape, mostly concentrated in the campus planning and architectural design classes.In this paper, the landscape of public spaces on campus were expounded the meaning of, and the campus landscape space design of a detailed analysis; summarize the content and the campus landscape space design theory, and on the basis of the theory of the campus landscape design factors that in-depth design study, from the perspective of student behavior and psychology to create a viable public outdoor landscape space on campus.
