Preliminary Analysis Of Australia's Urban Space Of Plant And Landscape

Plants are the foundation of city green; they can coordinate with the space and environment of the city. Plants in the green city area have variable shape and rich seasonal change, and other scenery need plants to enrich and complete the landscape. Therefore, plant design became especially important during the design process, properly use of plant materials can correspond with the urban space and environment.This paper explains the different types of Australian urban landscape and plants, analysis the methods used in landscape design, to create different atmosphere by using variety of different cropping patterns, to make the important role of plant landscaping in urban green space. In the research, list of some common plant species in Australia; summed up the features in Australia's urban green landscape and plants, including ground landscaping, ecology and the aspects of native species, presented some ideas and methods in landscape design. In hope to be used as a reference for China's urban green landscaping.
