On one hand, traditional commercial walking districts are reformed combined with old city reform. Secondly, it researches upon the domestic commercial walking districts newly-built or rebuilt and pays the most attention to the summarizing of commercial walking districts'space layout modes. It works through the research from two aspects of the constitutional elements of commercial walking districts'spatial patterning modes—open outer place and building space, at the same time, it takes evaluation on spatial features of cases relevant to commercial walking districts via computer-aided analysis and follow-up investigation upon stream of people.
