Congregate Housing Paradigm Analysis

Congregate housing is a kind of significant method on solving residential problems in context of limited territory resource. Its designs attract prevalent attentions at home and abroad. How to design perfect congregate housing does like a long-term issue in the field of architectural designing. During recent decades, congregate housing has experienced a series of revolutions with the progress of social economy. The development of congregate housing is seriously affected by the changes of family populations and the residential model. The emergence of marketing diversified demands further accelerates the unit space moving from mono-element towards multi-elements. In this process, congregate housing in China has developed for many years, that has primarily accumulated some successful model and experience. Summarizing and organizing these developed experiences do an essential meaning in the work of congregate housing, currently and future.In this article, on the basis of reviewing and summarizing the decades of development of congregate housing, the author generally conducts an in-depth investigation on the issue of congregate housing designing via a clue and motif of High-rise Residential Tower. Through the survey on a large number of the high-rise residential tower's design and application, it carries on a further analysis and study on various perspective issues of the residential. Based on these studies, the author is engaging of concluding a set of scientific designing theory and methodology which are acceptable in work of high-rise residential tower's designing, i.e. a general form of high-rise residential tower's designing. On one hand, the author is likely to provide a comparably precise accordance for developing further designs currently via summarizing of the general form. On the other hand, in the context of contemporary fast development of high-rise residential tower that going with social progresses, hopefully by the concluding of the general form will enable to set a certain theoretical foundation and technical support for further development of high-rise residential tower.
